25th Anniversary Year   -  Open House  Oct. 13th
  
    Twenty five years ago nine local pastors came together to create Active Faith Community Services.  Now, twenty five years later, health care professionals from Covenant Community Care,  local churches and the community will be working together to bring free medical and dental  care to the South Lyon community.  Covenant Care seeks to show and share the love of God, as seen in the good news of Jesus Christ, by providing integrated, affordable and quality health care to those who need it most.
    The First United Methodist Church has graciously offered their facility for the medical trailers and tents.  The medical and dental trailers will be here April 27-28 & 30, May 1, July 23-24 and October 22-23.  A quote from Sister Mary Rose from Covenant House says, “It’s an awesome, sometimes frightening task that God has called us to do!  And we need all the help we can get.” 
    As you go about this year, see whether you donate a can of food or a ton of food, one dollar or hundreds of dollars it all makes a difference.  Because of your support and your prayers, God has moved in mighty ways at Active Faith.  Even in these hard times we have been able to continue to keep our doors open for families and individuals who need Active Faith’s services.  Please keep us and our community in your prayers so we continue to do what He has called us to do.
