Active Faith Community Services is a faith based, licensed, non-denominational, non-discriminating, non - profit organization offering services for those who qualify and live in the South Lyon School District. For over two decades Active Faith has worked to improve the quality of life for low-income households residing within the 84 square mile South Lyon School District. As a 501-C3 charity, our mission is to help our clients become self-sufficient. We are a resource and information center when you need help or have questions.

A struggling economy has already led to an increase in emergency service. People are suffering eviction notices and utility shut-off notices. We have seen an additional demand for food, clothing and counseling services. See "Client Resources" for a list of some other organizations that might help you.
