National Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 5th is National Day of Prayer at 11:00 a.m.- Noon. Location: Mchattie Park Pavilion Main Playground Area. Please join us for this interdenominational event as 6 local church ministers pray for our local community , nation and the world. This bill was signed into public law in 1987. Bring a folding chair and an open heart. See you there!
3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk
Saturday, May 7th is the 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk hosted by Crossroads Community Church. Proceeds will be divided equally to three local charities; Active Faith, Capernaum, and Renewed Hope Counseling Center. Every participant receives a T-shirt and a medal. Stamp Out Hunger
Saturday, May 14th is Stamp Out Hunger. This is an annual event hosted by the USPS. Place in a bag some canned goods and other non-perishables for your postal worker to retrieve and deliver to the Active Faith Food Pantry. Together no one goes hungry in our town.
